Election day kicks off the week with sunny skies and warm weather. Temperatures will reach 18 C during the day before they dip to a nighttime low of 9 C. Winds gusting up to 40 kilometres per hour are expected late in the morning and will taper off in the evening.Â

Tuesday morning brings a 60 per cent chance of showers or thunderstorms, with the probability of rain dropping to 40 per cent by nighttime. Some sun should peek through the clouds with a daytime high of 24 C and a low of 3 C.Â
Skies will clear up by Wednesday, which will see a sunny high of 14 C before temperatures drop to a low of 6 C at night.
The rain could return Thursday with a 60 per cent chance of showers. Temperatures are expected hover around 10 C all day.
There is a 30 per cent chance of showers on Friday as the mild weather continues into the weekend. There is a daytime high of 14 C and a nighttime low of 4 C.
