Around 8:30 p.m., Halton police responded to reports a man had been shot outside the restaurant at , police said in a .

The man was transported to hospital where he later died.

Police say no arrests have been made and they do not have any suspect information, but they believe this was a targeted incident and there is no threat to public safety.

Anyone with dashcam footage of the  area between the hours of 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. are asked to contact police, as well as anyone else who may have helpful information.
